The abortion procedure, including its complexity and cost, depends on how far along the pregnancy is. That is why we encourage our patients to make the decision to terminate the pregnancy as early as possible.
My standard fees for consultation and ultrasound are $150 and $100, respectively, totalling $250. If the consultation takes longer than 15 minutes, the consultation fee will increase based on the duration. Since there have been occasions where patients changed their minds at the last minute about getting an abortion (leading to other patients not getting their desired booking), an initial deposit of $200 is required.

The total cost will depend on the gestational age of the pregnancy and includes fees for the procedure, ward charges, anaesthesia, and standard painkillers. I also routinely perform a Thin Prep test, which is charged separately. Injectable painkillers and antibiotics, if required to treat pre-existing vaginal infections, will also incur additional charges.
