For some women, abortion — also known as Termination of Pregnancy (TOP) — may be one of the options considered. Abortion is a legal medical service in Singapore and is regulated to ensure patient safety and informed decision-making. The procedure is permitted up to 24 weeks of pregnancy, and may be considered beyond this period if continuing the pregnancy poses a serious risk to the woman’s life or health. Mandatory counselling and a waiting period apply, allowing women time and space to reflect on their decision.

After completing his medical training in Singapore and the United Kingdom, Dr Jen served in several public hospitals before establishing his clinic in Ang Mo Kio to provide accessible care to the community.
Dr Jen has published numerous academic articles in the field of OBGYN and was recognised as a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecologists (London) in 1999.
Today, he continues to provide high-quality, personalised and supportive care to all patients that he sees.
